BOSTON – The Boston University women’s ice hockey team will make its first appearance of the season when it hosts Université de Moncton for an exhibition contest on Friday (Sept. 23) at Walter Brown Arena. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
Admission for the exhibition contest is free. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ as all games that take part in Hockey East rinks will now be streamed on that platform.
The Terriers have welcomed seven newcomers (five freshmen, two transfers) to a roster that returns 11 of the top 15 point-scorers from the 2021-22 season. Senior Nadia Mattivi will serve as captain for the 2022-23 campaign while juniors Lacey Martin and Madison Cardaci are this year’s assistant captains.
Head coach Brian Durocher enters his 18th season at the helm of the program.
