All NHL teams are required to reduce their training camp rosters to a maximum of 23 players by 5:00 PM on Monday. As a result, Lucas Johansen, Henrik Borgstrom, Brett Leason and Axel Johnson-Fjallby are expected to be placed on waivers today, with the intention of re-assigning them to Hershey.
Johansen, Borgstrom, Leason and Jonsson-Fjallby not practicing with the Capitals today. If all goes well with Oshie (upper body) and Orlov (lower body) in practice today, those four expected to go on waivers at 2 p.m. and be assigned to Hershey (AHL).
