The Washington Capitals fell to the Vegas Golden Knights by a score of 3-2 in overtime at Capital One Arena on Tuesday night. The loss dropped Washington’s record to 5-4-2. Goaltender Charlie Lindgren made 27 saves in the loss.

With the secondary assist, Ovechkin extended his point streak to three games (two goals, three points).
