The Iowa Wild played four games between Dec. 16 and Dec. 23, falling twice to Texas and Manitoba. In the first matchup against Texas, Iowa fell 4-2 with Kevin Conley and Mike O’Leary each recording a goal.

Zane McIntyre stopped 16-of-20 shots faced. 

Iowa fell to Texas in the final game of the two-game set, 3-1, with Marco Rossi being the lone goal scorer for the Wild. Jesper Wallstedt stopped 25-of-27 shots faced.

Iowa fell 5-3 in the first game against Manitoba. Adam Beckman , O’Leary and Sammy Walker were the goal scorers, while Joe Hicketts recorded two assists. McIntyre stopped 25-of-30 shots faced.

In its final game of the four-game slate, Iowa fell to Manitoba 4-3. Andrej Sustr scored his first goal of the season, Ty Ronning and Dakota Mermis were the other scorers for Iowa. Wallstedt stopped 22-of-25 shots faced.

Iowa currently sits in the fifth place in the Central Division with a record of 11-15-2 through 28 games. Steven Fogarty (9-12=21), Hicketts (3-16=19) and Ronning (8-5=13) lead active Iowa skaters in points.

Wallstedt holds a record of 5-7-3 with a SV% of .894 and a GAA of 3.25. McIntyre is 6-6-0 with a SV% of .893 and a GAA of 3.27.
