Tested from the Start: Six of Princeton’s first 14 games have come against national top-10 teams. Just one of Princeton’s losses, to Union on Dec. 3, has come to an unranked team, and it came in a game when Princeton outshot Union 89-25 overall and 57-15 on goal.

The Series with Dartmouth and Harvard: Princeton leads the all-time series with Dartmouth 51-32-6 overall and 25-11-6 in Baker Rink. The Tigers have won nine straight against the Big Green overall and five in a row at Baker while unbeaten in seven straight at Baker since Dartmouth’s last win in Princeton in 2012. Dartmouth’s last win over Princeton was in 2016. Harvard leads the all-time series 53-36-6 overall while Princeton leads 18-10-4 at Baker. Harvard won last season at Baker in January and in Cambridge in February, but two weeks later, Princeton went back to Harvard and became the first eighth-seeded team in the 20 years of the current ECAC tournament format to take a three-game series from the top-seeded team, beating Harvard in three.

Stat Rankings: Entering the week, Princeton stood No. 14 in the nation in faceoff percentage, winning at the draw 52.3 percent of the time for the team’s top stat ranking. Junior Sarah Fillier has 79 career assists, standing seventh and four out of sixth. With the 79 assists (record is 122) and 132 points (record is 218), Fillier is more than halfway to both records with about a season and a half to go.
