UPDATE (5:47 PM): The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially announced their signing of OT Le’Raven Clark. The team also announced it’s a one-year deal.

Our original story is below.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are adding to their offensive line, signing veteran OT Le’Raven Clark, according to The Score’s Jordan Schultz.

Financial terms weren’t immediately known but it’s likely to be a cheap, one-year deal.

Clark, who turns 30 next month, has started 18 career games. He was a third-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in the 2016 NFL Draft. According to PFF, he has over 400 career snaps at LT and over 300 at RT while also logging over 300 career snaps at right guard.

Last year, Clark played over 100 snaps for the Tennessee Titans, seeing most of his time at right tackle. His two starts came in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Week 17 versus the Dallas Cowboys, though he played only five snaps against Jacksonville. He logged 33 snaps off the bench against Houston in Week 16.

According to PFF, he allowed six pressures and one sack last season.

Between the Colts and Titans, Clark spent a year with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021, making him the third offensive lineman the Steelers signed with an Andy Weidl connection. Weidl was with the Eagles in 2021 before being hired by the Steelers as Assistant GM last summer. OGs Nate Herbig and Isaac Seumalo also were with the Eagles before signing Pittsburgh this offseason.

Clark will provide veteran swing depth behind starters Dan Moore Jr. and Chukwuma Okorafor. The Steelers could also draft a tackle early in next month’s draft. Pittsburgh completely lacked depth here, even seeing Trent Scott sign with Washington yesterday. Adding Clark certainly won’t preclude the team from drafting a tackle early.

Developing story.
