We’re camping! Saturday was the opening day of the Washington Capitals 2023 Rookie Camp, which runs through Tuesday. 21 Capitals prospects began on-ice workouts at MedStar Capitals Iceplex on Saturday, with camp moving to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland on Sunday.
Vincent Iorio (#2), Alexander Suzdalev (#14), Andrew Cristall #28), Hendrix Lapierre (#29), Clay Stevenson (#33), Jon McDonald (#40), Patrick Thomas (#49), Henrik Rybinski (#58), Brett Hyland (#59), Antoine Keller (#60), Ivan Miroshnichenko (#63), Connor Hall (#68), Adam McCormick (#71), Nick Leivermann (#76), Mitchell Gibson (#78), Garin Bjorklund (#80), Spencer Meier (#81), Ryan Hofer (#84), Bogdan Trineyev (#88), Jake Karabela (#95) and Ryan Leibold (#97) all participated in today’s first day of rookie camp activities. Hershey Bears’ head coach Todd Nelson directed camp activities.
