NFL Week 10 – According to Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, Packers cornerback Eric Stokes is likely done for the season. This report comes via a tweet from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

According to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman, Stokes was seen leaving Sunday’s game in crutches with a walking boot on his right foot. He is currently listed on the Packers’ injury list with an ankle/knee injury and has not participated in practice all week.

No cornerback on the Packers roster had played more snaps than Stokes this season. Per Sports Info Solution, Stokes was the only member of the Packers cornerback group who had yet to allow a touchdown in coverage this season. However, Stokes had yet to break up a pass this season on 23 targets.

Green Bay has four other cornerbacks on the roster, including starting cornerback Jaire Alexander and starting nickel Rasul Douglas. Keisean Nixon, Stokes’s immediate replacement, has played just 131 defensive snaps this season, allowing 5.1 yards per target with a touchdown allowed on 13 targets. Second-year corner Shemar Jean-Charles has just three defensive snaps this year.
